Meet Our Board

The Skamania County Fair & Timber Carnival is proudly led by an all-volunteer board of community members who are passionate about preserving our timber heritage and creating memorable experiences for families throughout the Columbia River Gorge. The board was established in 1951.

Our board members wear many hats—serving as both decision-makers and hands-on operators who work year-round to bring the fair to life. From coordinating with exhibitors and sponsors to setting up exhibit halls and planning events, these dedicated volunteers ensure our fair remains a welcoming, accessible celebration of our community's history and spirit.

Their commitment to keeping admission free and maintaining the fair's 100+ year tradition of community connection makes this annual event possible. We're grateful for their leadership, hard work, and love for Skamania County.
