While the Skamania County Fair and Timber Carnival offers free admission, we invite you to bring something even more valuable—donations for our neighbors in need. Our annual canned food drive runs throughout fair week, with each day focused on different high-need items identified by our local food bank partners.
Daily Donation Focus
We partner with local food banks to prioritize the items our community needs most. Bring donations any day you visit, or come back throughout the week to support each daily focus:
Wednesday - Fruits and Vegetables
Canned fruits, vegetables, tomatoes, sauces
Thursday - Proteins
Canned meats, stews, chilis, beans
Friday - Personal Hygiene Items
Non-food essentials like shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, women's hygiene products, infant supplies
Saturday - Dried Goods
Pasta, rice, beans, cereal, boxed meals like Hamburger Helper
How It Works
Each barn and fair area has decorated a shopping cart to collect donations. Drop your items in your favorite decorated cart or support your favorite barn! It's a friendly competition with trophies awarded for:
