Gorge Games

Hosted by Gorge Games Club

Each summer, the Gorge Games Club brings two days of fast-paced, heart-pounding equestrian competition to the Skamania County Fairgrounds. While Gorge Games is an independent event — not affiliated with the Skamania County Fair & Timber Carnival — it's been a beloved part of our fairgrounds community for years, and we're proud to host it right here in the Columbia River Gorge.

Riders of all ages compete in a variety of timed speed events, cheered on by family, friends, and plenty of enthusiastic spectators. Best of all, proceeds from the event benefit the Skamania County 4-H Horse Barn and Fairboard — so every entry helps support our local youth and their horses.

A Few Things to Know Before You Go

Helmets are required for all riders 18 and under. Riding boots with heels are required when mounted. Riding is permitted in the arena only — no riding on asphalt or through the fairgrounds. If you're camping overnight, horses must be stalled; no tying to trailers overnight.

Events are subject to change.
