Volunteer Spotlight

The Skamania County Fair is a year-round labor of love and our volunteers are truly the heart and soul of the fair.

This page serves to highlight the special people, of past and present, who make our fair happen year after year. Those who burn the midnight oil so entries can be accepted, shows can run, and our public can be educated. We simply couldn't do it without them.

Please share the love and give these helpers the recognition they so deserve.

Our Fantastic Fair Volunteers

Mary Davis

If you've come through the fair within the last 40 years, chances are you've met Mary Davis! You can find her demonstrating spinning and other fiber arts in the Exhibit Hall with a smile on her face.

Thank you for your dedication to the Skamania County Fair, Mary!

Fun Fact: Mary is left handed

Kaitlyn Crosby

Kaitlyn has served as Co-Goat Superintendent with her twin sister, Kari, for the last 12 years. Kaitlyn loves volunteering because of our fair's culture of community and family legacy of commitment to the fair - it is truly a family affair!

Fun Fact: "I have never missed a single fair, ever since I was 8 months old, and neither have my babies. My first was 6 weeks old at her first fair."
