Always Free Admission! Wednesday-Saturday 12-10 PM

The Skamania County Fair and Timber Carnival is a free-gate community fair in Stevenson, WA, celebrating the Columbia River Gorge's timber heritage and the talents of our local 4-H youth and community members. Whether you're a local family or visiting the Gorge for the weekend, we invite you to explore the barns, enjoy the carnival, and experience small-town hospitality at its best.


Fair Hours & Admission

When: Wednesday through Saturday, Noon-10 PM
Where: 710 Rock Creek Drive, Stevenson, WA
Admission: Always FREE!

That's right—no gate fee, no admission charge. Just bring yourself, your family, and maybe some donations for our canned food drive!

What to Bring

Cash & Cards: Most vendors accept both cash and cards, but bringing a little cash never hurts for quick purchases.

Dress for the Weather: Stevenson weather can be unpredictable! Plan for sun with sunscreen and hats, but bring a light jacket or rain gear just in case.

Outside Food & Drinks: Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages to enjoy throughout the day. We also have fabulous vendors who are sure to complete your fair experience.

Strollers Welcome: The fairgrounds are stroller-friendly, so bring the little ones and explore comfortably.


What to Do

Make the most of your fair experience:

  • Visit the Barns & Exhibit Hall: See the hard work of our 4-H youth and community exhibitors. From livestock and rabbits to quilts, photography, and baked goods, there's so much talent on display.
  • Enjoy the Carnival: Rides, games, and midway fun for all ages.
  • Catch Some Entertainment: Check out our event calendar for showtimes, performances, and special activities throughout the fair.
  • Support the Canned Food Drive: Drop donations in the decorated shopping carts around the fairgrounds.

Fairgrounds Amenities

Restrooms: Available throughout the fairgrounds
First Aid: Limited first aid supplies on-site
Information Booth: Stop by our info booth on the grounds with any questions during your visit
Handicap Parking: Available behind the Hegewald Center


Fair Rules

To keep everyone safe and comfortable:

  • No pets or animals allowed (except registered fair livestock and service animals)
  • Outside food and drinks are welcome
  • Be respectful of exhibits and animals
