Meet the dedicated volunteers who bring the best week of summer to life in Stevenson, WA. The Skamania County Fair & Timber Carnival Board consists of community members passionate about preserving agricultural traditions and creating memorable experiences in the Columbia River Gorge.
Our board meetings are open to the public and typically held the first Wednesday of each month. These volunteers manage all aspects of fair operations, from securing sponsorships and organizing show schedules to coordinating the many moving parts of this beloved community event. Their year-round dedication ensures that each August brings exceptional family fun and educational opportunities to our region.
The board is grateful for its strong partnership with Skamania County Events and Recreation, which makes this large-scale event possible. This collaboration between volunteers and county resources demonstrates the community spirit that defines our free-gate fair.
